Romans 5:8 is a really well known verse that says: "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." So guys as this video made me think about my own thoughts on what love is, I turned to "The very definition of love... Jesus Christ" The sacrifice Jesus made on the Cross was out of love for the whole world! So share the love around so that we may know perfect love!

hey i thought it was wonderful andrea, i love in the clip where it says even lay down your life for your enemies. i know it sounds cliché but God promises that if you show love you will find love. It's not as easy as it sounds.
ReplyDeleteI agree! It's one of the best parts of the clip! I like the part where it says "The very definition of LOVE is JESUS CHRIST" The love that we share with Him is the most perfect because He is perfect! It is quite sobering to realise that Jesus died for his enemies, for the sinners (all of us!), non-believers and those that scorned Him to the very end. As a young adult it is comforting to realise that all the promise of love out there is not matched by the enduring and everlasting love that I receive from my Father and my King. It's right that if you show love you will receive love. Jesus said: "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you LOVE one another" What better way to show your friends, your family, your community or even the world about Jesus than loving them!
